Bone and Gum Grafts

There may be times that bone or gum grafts are needed to preserve the health and integrity of your smile and bone structure. We are privileged to have the expert clinical skills of Dr. Luis Craig to provide oral and maxillofacial (related to the face and jaw) surgical services for our patients. 


When teeth have been missing for years, the bone mass in that area is weakened. This will often mean that we can’t place an implant as a tooth replacement. It may also be difficult to provide comfortable dentures. The solution is to build up the bone in that area with a bone graft. We rely on Dr. Craig to perform these surgeries for our patients. 


Dr. Craig is also skilled in providing gum grafts which restore a normal gum line for a patient who has experienced gum recession. A gum graft protects the sensitive root area of a tooth.
